Chrono Cross - PS1

Serge, a young boy from a fishing village, finds himself in a mysterious predicament when he suddenly vanishes while walking along the shore with his sweetheart. Upon regaining consciousness, he discovers that his home village no longer recognizes him, and he learns that he has been presumed dead for a decade. This revelation leads Serge to understand that he is in a parallel world. Determined to return to his original world, Serge embarks on a quest to uncover the cause of these parallel worlds and the secrets of inter-dimensional travel, which will also reveal the truth about his own existence.

"Chrono Cross" is a Japanese-style role-playing game and a sequel to "Chrono Trigger," though its story is not directly linked to its predecessor. The game features turn-based combat without random battles, as enemies are visible on the screen. Players can choose from three types of attacks—weak, medium, and strong—each with varying accuracy and damage. Stamina is consumed during battles and regenerates as other characters take action. Instead of character levels, parameters increase directly after battles.
