Final Fantasy XIII - PS3

Final Fantasy XIII is set in the floating city of Cocoon, separated from the world below known as Pulse. The government, Sanctum, uses PSICOM to "Purge" citizens suspected of becoming l'Cie, slaves of the fal'Cie. Lightning searches for her sister Serah, who becomes a l'Cie and turns into a crystal after fulfilling her mission. Lightning, Snow, and companions become l'Cie themselves and embark on a journey to uncover their mission. The game features a separate battle system triggered by enemy encounters, with the player controlling one character and assigning behavior patterns to the others. Commands and attacks can be stacked for devastating combos, and character growth is managed through the Crystarium system. Eidolons, or summons, return in the form of each character's unique Eidolon.
