Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit takes players back to the series' roots with scenic tracks, cops versus racers face-offs, and a variety of exotic and super cars. Set in Seacrest County, the game features a mix of environments from sunny beaches to snowy mountains. Players start as both a racer and a cop, progressing through 20 ranks in each role to unlock new cars. Racing events are divided by car types, including sports, performance, super, exotic, and hyper cars. The game emphasizes powerful vehicles like the Bugatti Veyron and Koenigsegg CCXR Edition, with a total of 64 cars available. The online multiplayer mode includes the Autolog system, which tracks friends' records and encourages competition. Additional online game modes are available through DLC.
