Rock Band - PS3

Rock Band, developed by the creators of Guitar Hero, allows players to form a virtual band with up to four players using guitar, drums, and microphone peripherals. Gameplay involves hitting scrolling notes in time and matching pitch for vocals. Players can customize characters and instruments, earn cash, and unlock new venues in Tour Mode. Overdrive replaces Star Power for score boosts, and band members can revive each other during songs. Various modes include Solo Tour, Band World Tour, and multiplayer options. Additional features include Union Phrases, Big Rock Endings, and downloadable content for new songs. The European version is sold separately from the instruments package.
