Worms: Armageddon - PS1

Worms: Armageddon is a standalone expansion to Worms 2, offering significant enhancements and additions. It introduces 16 new weapons and 6 utilities, with some existing ones rebalanced or removed. The game features new single-player campaigns, challenges, and gameplay schemes, some of which unlock through campaign missions. A revamped menu interface, sounds, voice banks, and music accompany new predefined maps and an expanded map editor. Players can customize teams with representative flags, victory anthems, and gravestones, and each team can choose a special weapon like the Holy Hand Grenade or Flamethrower. AI teams now have five difficulty settings, and jumping controls allow worms to jump backwards and perform backflips. The option to select a worm at the start of each turn is now a utility with limited uses. Multiplayer options are enhanced with a more elaborate WormNET lobby.
